Welcome to the new FIUS website
After months of work, the time has come: fius.de has been rebuilt from the ground up. We, the AK WWW, can't wait to finally show you the result of our work.
The time has come: after many late evenings, countless commits and the odd heated debate about easter eggs, our completely new website is finally online. The team behind it is the AK WWW, the “Arbeitskreis” that takes care of everything around fius.de. We welcome you to the new web presence of the Fachgruppe Informatik!
Why rebuild at all?
The old site served us faithfully for years. But over time our expectations have grown and modern web standards have moved on.
Above all, we wanted to make adding new content and editing what’s already there far simpler, so we can keep the site much easier up to date.
What changes for you
- A fresh design: Modernised from the ground up, cleaner, clearer and much more up to date.
- Rethought navigation: Whether it’s past exams, upcoming events or our other services, you’ll find everything important with noticeably fewer clicks.
- Responsive on every device: Whether on your phone during a lecture or on your laptop in the evening, the layout adapts seamlessly.
- More pages and content: We’ve added many more pages and far more content to better cover your interests and above all to communicate more clearly what the Fachgruppe does and how we advocate for you.
